Gunshot Kennel is a breeding-training operation focused on Labrador Retrievers and German Shorthair Pointers.  We generally breed two to three litters per year.  We train our own dogs as well as several outside dogs.  Our goal is to produce hunt test pointers and retrievers that will satisfy the test demands and discriminating hunters.

Our retriever-training group consists of many Rumor puppies all geared toward hunting and the hunt tests.  Our training sessions are open and we invite all to come and train with us. 

Our facilities include a new 40X80 foot barn to house our brood bitches and puppies and  also use as an indoor training area.  Additionally, we’ve remodeled our old barn to include five new indoor and outdoor runs devoted to outside dogs in training.  We have seventeen acres of training space here, two 20 acre plots we can kill birds on year round, as well as numerous lakes and CRP fields we use seasonally.
